FAQ

How much notice is required to place an order for an ice sculpture?

We suggest you get your date reserved as soon as possible. Holiday’s and popular Wedding dates fill up quickly. We prefer a 2 to 3 week lead time, but please don’t hesitate to contact us even if you think it’s too late to place an order. We will always make every effort to accommodate your needs.

What is included with delivery?

Setup includes a drip tray with hose for drainage and bucket to collect the water. Lighting is on a deposit system, as long as the light is returned there is no charge.

When should the ice sculpture be delivered?

Delivery of the sculpture takes place 1 hour before guests are due to arrive at the venue.

How do you get the ice so clear?

The ice we manufacture is perfectly clear because we use a uniquely designed machine called The Clinebell. The water stays circulating throughout the freezing process, which does not allow the impurities a chance to freeze. Each block takes approximately 4-5 days to freeze.

How big are your sculpting blocks?

The ice blocks are 40″ x 20″ x 10” and weigh approximately 300lbs each.

How much does an average sculpture weigh?

The average single block sculpture weights between 150 to 200 pounds.

How do you keep the ice sculpture from melting?

You don’t, the sculpture is guaranteed to melt.

What is the average life expectancy of a sculpture?

Depending on the design and size, an average sculpture will last 6 to 8 hours. There are many variables that contribute to the melting process such as temperature, air conditioning, wind and humidity.
